Vega Sicilia is undoubtedly Spain’s most famous winery; a true icon in fine wine with a history dating back to 1864.

Vega Sicilia claims to be one of the longest aged and longest-lived red wines in the world, with their flagship Unico capable of maturing in a bottle for well over sixty years under the right cellar conditions.

UNICO - Vega Sicilia Page

Unico 2012

210 of the almost 1,000 hectares on the Vega Sicilia estate are used for vine growing, featuring 19 different types of soil and 64 plots with very specific characteristics. 40 of these hectares are used to produce Unico, which spends at least ten years between barrel and bottle, representing one of the longest ageing processes in the world.

2012 is a concentrated, juicy, silky, and well-defined vintage. It is an expression that can be enjoyed immediately, but it will become incredible over time.

Unico Reserva Especial 2022 Release

This is a non-vintage Vega Sicilia and a tribute to tradition. Unico Reserva Especial is a true homage to the history of Spanish wine, perfectly combining the characteristics of different Unico vintages. Only the best Unico vintages are used to produce this iconic and remarkably complex wine.

Unico Reserva Especial 2022 is a blend of the 2008, 2010, and 2011 vintages.

VALBUENA - Vega Sicilia Page

Valbuena 5º 2017

Valbuena 5º is the purest expression of Vega Sicilia’s red wine. It is aged for five years between barrel and bottle, giving rise to the wine’s name: Valbuena 5º.

Valbuena 5º 2017 is more mature, juicy, and voluptuous expression, with the focus always on harmony.

PINTIA - Vega Sicilia Page

Pintia 2017

Pintia lies on the banks of the Douro River, within the Toro D.O. region. The extremely cold winters and hot summers influence its complex soils, which are mainly known for their significant pebble content.

Pintia 2017 has a juicier, sweeter balance, achieving harmony and a silky texture.

ALION - Vega Sicilia Page

Alión 2018

Alión comes from carefully selected terroirs located in the very best areas of the Ribera del Duero DO region. The soils complement each other, and allied with the same winemaking process used in Vega Sicilia.

2018 was a fresh, Atlantic-influenced vintage, giving this Alion a more vertical, longer, and elegant expression.
