Product Description
The 2008 Tignanello is a blend of 85% Sangiovese, aged in 300-liter French oak barrels, with 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc aged in 100% new 225-liter French oak barriques. The 2008 was described as the “wine of the vintage” and reveals rich notes of chocolate and black cherry on the palate with vibrant acidity, supple tannins and a long finish.
