Joseph Drouhin’s Montrachet Grand Cru, Marquis de Laguiche, ages for 18 to 21 months. The grapes are hand-harvested in open-work crates. Best enjoyed between 10 to 25 years, with an ageing potential of up to 25 years.

Vinous 97
The 2020 Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche Grand Cru is consistent with my previous tasting in January. Exquisite definition on the nose, real mineralite here. The palate is intense and penetrating, touches of orange zest and spice building wonderfully towards the finish. Excellent.
